Synovus seeks a Data Analyst/Stewardship expert to support data architecture across reporting services, data warehouses, and business intelligence. This role is crucial for implementing strategic processes and ensuring high data standards, reducing redundancy, and boosting data confidence. The team focuses on developing and standardizing data assets, enhancing decision-making across the company.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Support activities related to data architecture and design expertise for data warehouses and business intelligence reporting.
• Coordinate new business intelligence initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally with data owners.
• Participate in data governance and stewardship processes, ensuring transparency and control.
• Contribute to system testing, data analysis, and reconciliation of reporting projects.
• Identify opportunities for standardization through Master Data Management.
• Act as a liaison between business customers and IT for tactical projects.
• Ensure awareness of risk and compliance within functional areas.

This role requires you to have:

• Understanding of reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, SSRS, SQL Server.
• Knowledge of various technologies, data models, and data source insights.

• Ability to mentor and train team members.
