In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop core relevance and Data Science products for digital experiences.
• Collaborate with business partners to address business challenges.
• Design scalable, flexible Data Science solutions.
• Architect solutions to process and analyze large datasets.
• Implement machine learning algorithms and NLP techniques to enhance search systems.
• Engage with Data Science and Product teams to deliver solutions.
• Contribute to Target's Data Science and organizational culture.

This role requires you to have:

• 4-year degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
• PhD or MS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience in Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, NLP.
• Proficiency with machine learning models and production scaling.
• Strong Python or Java programming skills.
• Expertise in database querying using SQL or similar.
