Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU) is looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to strengthen their data infrastructure. This role involves building and maintaining a comprehensive data ecosystem to support their initiatives in banking services. The engineer will join a team focused on leveraging technology to ensure data accuracy and security across platforms.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data architectures and pipelines.
• Develop data models, schema, and metadata for analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements.
• Implement data validation and cleansing processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless operations.
• Stay updated with current data engineering trends and technologies.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Azure DP-203 Data Engineering certification.
• Seven plus years in data modeling, integration, or management.
• Experience in dimensional modeling at large enterprises.
• Strong SQL and database management skills.

You would benefit from having:

• Snowflake DEA-C01 SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer certification.
• Experience with GCP, Dataproc, Big Query, Airflow, Snowflake, Data Factory.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark.
