Data-Metrics Analyst

TMB is looking for a Data-Metrics Analyst to bring their expertise in data analytics and shipboard maintenance to support SEA21. This role focuses on aiding project managers in making data-driven decisions for naval ship maintenance and logistics. The selected candidate will join a collaborative team dedicated to optimizing processes through precise data interpretation.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Support project managers using shipboard maintenance and data analytics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data from shipboard operations
• Utilize statistical analysis and visualization tools for insights and communication
• Develop reports and presentations for Navy leadership
• Identify process improvement opportunities via data analysis
• Stay updated with data analytics trends and integrate new technologies
• Ensure alignment of analytics efforts with organizational goals
• Produce various written deliverables including reports and databases

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, or related field
• 4 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in statistical analysis and data visualization
• Experience with Qlik and/or Tableau
• Strong communication skills
• US citizenship and active DOD Secret security clearance

Applicants must be US citizens and hold an active DOD Secret security clearance. The role requires interaction with internal and external customers, and the ability to travel short distances as part of job functions, as well as the capacity to carry up to 25 pounds.
