Tesla is looking to add a Data Engineer to its Gigafactory New Product Introduction team in Nevada. The role involves supporting operations by automating production controls and enhancing data visualization. The successful candidate will leverage advanced statistical methods and create robust data pipelines to support Tesla Energy products.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze processes and equipment data to extract insights for productivity improvements.
- Collaborate with Engineers for comprehensive data analyses and modeling.
- Monitor process metrics, identify root causes for deviations.
- Use statistical techniques to interpret data and generate reports.
- Identify trends in complex datasets and communicate them through dashboards.
- Maintain data pipelines and enhance dashboards.
- Acquire and manage data from various sources, ensuring database integrity.
- Conduct data quality validations to meet business and confidentiality requirements.

This role requires you to have:
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Python, C+, and MATLAB.
