Tesla is looking for a Data Analyst to support the Semi program by converting data into useful, actionable information. This role involves creating reports and visualizations that aid in maximizing the Semi's utilization, improving efficiency, and providing insights both internally and externally.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Create clear and impactful reports and visualizations for stakeholders and customers.
  • Support engineering by extracting and evaluating vehicle data for trend analysis and service opportunities.
  • Deliver insights for charging network planning and customer duty cycles.
  • Generate reports for grant-funded projects.
  • Automate reports on fleet performance and health.
  • Collaborate with data engineering to establish data pipelines and verify data integrity.
  • Write clean, maintainable code for data analysis tasks.
  • Provide data insights for the business development team and contribute to customer-facing materials.
  • Review time-series data from vehicle logs.

This role requires you to have:

  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with Python and SQL
  • Ability to learn quickly and think from first principles in a dynamic data environment
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI
  • Ability to derive insights from large datasets
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
