Lead Data Analyst

Texas A&M University is looking for a Lead Data Analyst to oversee essential data processes within the Academic & Business Performance Analytics department. This role involves coordinating a systems analysis and development team to comply with technical standards and fulfill the reporting needs of the University and external agencies. The position requires a proactive problem-solver who can manage complex reporting and data analysis initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Serve as technical lead and programmer for diverse data projects.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure technical standards compliance.
• Compile and deliver reports, data summaries, and analyses for management and University administration.
• Manage data acquisition and processing to support State and Federal reporting.
• Document all developed data processes and reporting methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Business Analytics, or similar.
• 5 years of experience with SQL scripting and tools for data handling.
• Ability to prepare user-specific reports and interpret data requests.
