The Epidemiologist III role is integral in managing and analyzing health data, particularly related to HIV/HCV/STD, to support public health initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Conduct HIV/HCV/STD research investigations, surveillance, and assessment.
  • Provide HIV/HCV/STD data to policy makers and public health partners.
  • Analyze survey data and present it using advanced statistical and analytical procedures.
  • Participate in the development of survey questions and medical chart abstractions.
  • Present research findings to appropriate audiences and ensure accuracy in reports.

This role requires you to have:

  • Knowledge of public health functions.
  • Understanding of statistical analyses and database management.
  • Experience with SAS and statistical software programming.
  • Skill in data collection, analysis, and visualization methods.

You would benefit from having:

  • Knowledge of survey development and data dissemination processes.
  • Experience with programming in statistical software.
