The Commercial Data Scientist role bridges business and data science, contributing to team efforts in a collaborative environment.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and apply advanced statistical and machine learning methods to tackle client business issues.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on data and modeling, advising on data preparation and model architecture.
• Design solutions aligned with client business problems and project goals.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to peers and stakeholders.
• Engage in client meetings to present analytical methods, model outcomes, and receive feedback.
• Contribute to project logistics and deliverables, such as updates and implementation materials.
• Support consulting teams on big data projects, and standardize modeling practices.
• Participate in team meetings and support the development of the Data Science practice.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or related fields
• Over 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Expertise in supervised and unsupervised machine learning for regression and classification
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with R
• Experience with PowerBI or Tableau for data visualization
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly, motivated and resourceful
• Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to work independently
