In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Operate within a cloud-based AWS environment.
- Collaborate with Maxar employees and external consultants.
- Engage with extensive geospatial data repositories.

- Analyze diverse system data for reporting applications.
- Identify and propose infrastructure improvements.
- Work alongside DevOps Engineers, Data Engineers, and BI Developers.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience in building automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
- Knowledge of file-based data storage.
- Experience with data catalogs.
- Understanding of AWS services.
- Familiarity with data APIs and GitHub.
- Ability to work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
You would benefit from having:
- Software development experience.

- Proficiency in PostGIS and various open-source technologies.
