The Literacy Lab, a national non-profit, aims to close literacy opportunity gaps in communities facing racial and economic inequities. This temporary Data Analyst role supports this mission by ensuring effective data collection and analysis, contributing to strategic planning, and promoting internal data literacy. The position is part of a mission-driven effort to enhance equity in education through robust data practices.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data to enhance program outcomes and performance.
- Create dashboards and reports to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
- Clean and analyze complex datasets to drive strategic actions.
- Promote data literacy and support data-informed decision making within the organization.
- Assist with data system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ensure data collection and reporting focus on equity and accuracy.
- Participate in strategic planning and development of goals and KPIs.

This role requires you to have:

- Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills, including R, SQL, Python, and PowerBI.
- Experience in data visualization and presentation across multiple formats.
- Ability to independently manage projects.
You would benefit from having:

- Background in education or working with marginalized communities.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
