The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is hiring a Data Scientist to join their Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Application Branch. In this role, you will apply your advanced knowledge of data science concepts, methods, and techniques to ensure the quality of data used in NIH facilities. The Data Scientist will lead the technical efforts of data collection and analysis, utilizing Python and Azure technology to enhance real-time data collection and processing for climate control systems. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced knowledge of data science concepts, methods, and techniques to provide technical expertise on data quality functions and activities in support of NIH facilities

  • Serve as an advisor to the organization on data quality for aseptic facilities
  • Coordinate data protection processes, including permissions management, data classification, and security analytics
  • Participate in addressing specific data quality issues and activities
  • Utilize Python and Azure technology to enhance real-time data collection and processing for climate control systems
  • Develop and deploy advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms
  • Create visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Grafana
