The University of New Mexico is looking for a proficient Data Analyst to join the School of Medicine's Office of Education. This role focuses on supporting the Assessment and Learning Office by managing exam-related data processes. The position demands strong computer and communication skills, along with high-level analytical abilities.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and build assessments within ExamSoft for faculty.
- Analyze exam item performance and interpret psychometric data.
- Manage live relational databases to track student exam performance.
- Design queries using Access tools and SQL.
- Create and update grade databases and spreadsheets.
- Generate statistical and analytical reports on exam performance.
- Provide grades and feedback to faculty and students.
- Collect and analyze assessment data from multiple sources.
- Interpret statistical outputs for presentations.
- Generate specialized queries for faculty and student reporting.
- Manage Phase I and Doctoring grades in One45.
- Ensure timely posting of grades according to guidelines.
- Provide backup for the A&L Data Manager.

This role requires you to have:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 5 years of experience related to data management and analysis.
You would benefit from having:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access and related relational databases.
- Experience in data management and analyzing quantitative data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
