The Walt Disney Company's Decision Science + Integration organization supports various segments by leveraging technology, analytics, and modeling to optimize decisions and drive value. This role within the Data Engineering team focuses on developing and maintaining projects for Park/Ticket Yield Management, involving collaboration with various teams and phases of project development.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead processes for multi-site applications supporting Park/Ticket Yield Management.
• Prioritize projects, define data requirements, and manage phases from design to sustenance.
• Conduct weekly meetings, status updates, sprint planning, and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with standards and provide hands-on development guidance.
• Offer technical leadership, assist code reviews, and recommend changes to standards.

This role requires you to have:

• 7+ years in software development using multi-environments and DevOps processes.
• 2+ years with relational databases, ideally Snowflake or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in deploying code via GitLab/GitHub.
• Expertise in job scheduling tools and ELT/ETL pipeline development.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and SQL Query performance tuning.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong communication and influencing skills within a department.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably on AWS.
• Knowledge of Snowflake offerings, including Snowpark and Container Services.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. The position focuses on influencing change and leading data engineering activities.
