Analytics Engineer

Thistle is searching for an Analytics Engineer reporting to the Director of Data to masterfully build and maintain a robust data model. This role plays a pivotal part in driving data-driven decision-making across the company by developing and optimizing scalable data pipelines. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional leaders, such as those in marketing, product, and engineering, to foster a culture of data utilization and innovation.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and uphold Thistle's data architecture, focusing on accuracy and scalability.
• Equip teams with data-driven insights through visualizations and reports.
• Create, implement, and refine data workflows to guarantee real-time data access.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to establish metrics and analytics solutions.
• Enhance database performance with advanced query tuning and infrastructure optimizations.
• Partner with teams to enhance data accessibility and innovation.

• 3+ years experience in analytics engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Expertise in data modeling and cloud-based data warehouses.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
