Tucson Unified School District is seeking a Data Analyst for the 2024-2025 school year to strengthen data reporting and integration in the educational sector. The position supports the district's assessment and evaluation through effective data management and reporting solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Provide reporting on educational data issues.
• Create and manage data import and export routines.
• Organize data from different systems for reporting and application use.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Three years of experience with data integration in a Microsoft SQL Server environment, or seven years of experience without a degree.
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with statistical/web applications like Excel, PowerBI, SPSS, ASP.net, JavaScript, C#, and Python.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpretation skills for generating data reports.
• Ability to work with diverse groups.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience in a K-12 educational setting.
• Experience with ETL techniques and Student Information Systems like Synergy, PowerSchool, or Canvas.
• Experience with SSIS development.
• Ability to communicate analysis results to diverse audiences.
