In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Utilize descriptive statistics to interpret business banking data.
  • Perform comprehensive data analysis to support business functions.
  • Apply advanced statistical methods and data science techniques, including machine learning.
  • Develop and implement analytical models to forecast trends and assess risk.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Identify, source, and manipulate new data sources for analysis.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Conduct strategic analyses to evaluate business performance.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights.
  • Address complex business problems with innovative analytical solutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business banking dynamics and market trends.
  • Communicate complex data findings effectively to stakeholders.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Five to seven years of experience in statistical and/or data analytics.

You would benefit from having:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis and data science.
  • Expertise in using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong data engineering skills with ETL processes experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic mindset.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in business banking or financial services.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, and geo-spatial tools.
  • Experience in predictive modeling and advanced analytics.
  • Strong analytic skills for handling complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
