• Provide data science expertise for enhancing United's MileagePlus loyalty program.
• Approach business challenges with data solutions.
• Refine models using new data or altered business conditions.
• Communicate data science project results to non-technical staff.
• Innovate on key metrics and consult with business partners.
• Mentor team members and promote a data-focused culture.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or quantitative field.
• 4+ years data science experience, or equivalent education.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for statistical analysis.
• Experience with large datasets and statistical programming.

You would benefit from having:

• Master's degree in statistics, math, or business analytics.
• Experience in the travel industry, or with loyalty programs.
• Experience with Reinforcement Learning and Causal Inference.
• Experience with AWS for model deployment.
• Familiarity with Pyspark and visualization tools like Tableau.
