Data Migration Engineer

Universal Music Group is a global leader in the music industry looking for a Data Migration Engineer to enhance their data initiatives. The role focuses on collaborating with business leaders to ensure optimal data management and migration across various departments, aligning with UMG's digital media guidelines.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Coordinate with project leaders and departments to set goals and expectations.
• Use tools and scripts to perform migrations and report post-migrational statuses.
• Provide feedback on post-migration processes and optimize data usage.
• Manage migration plans, including preparation, data syncing, and final cutovers.
• Assist with resolving migration issues and updating documentation.
• Work with international teams and manage requests and support tickets.
• Participate in special projects and archive data as needed.

This role requires you to have:

• Data mining or analysis experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in O365 tools (SharePoint/OneDrive/PowerPlatform)
• 5+ years in a relevant field with project management experience
