University Hospitals is looking for a Data Scientist to support crucial administrative and clinical leaders in achieving strategic objectives through advanced analytic methods and data science techniques. The role involves implementing the full data science pipeline from data integration to insightful report presentations that significantly impact the hospital's operations.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead discovery and requirements gathering with stakeholders.
• Co-create and optimize advanced analytics techniques.
• Develop statistical models and analytics for strategic initiatives.
• Deploy analytics solutions including dashboards and reports.
• Utilize diverse data sources for clinical and operational strategies.
• Develop data marts using Alteryx and SQL, including Microsoft Azure.
• Assess and enhance new data sources and gathering techniques.
• Collaborate with IT to structure data architecture supporting clinical integration.
• Evaluate business performance and monitor key operational metrics.
• Propose and integrate novel data science solutions into clinical care.
• Support analytics related to risk, financial performance, and quality of care.
• Develop tools and documentation to enhance data analytics capabilities.
• Mentor and collaborate with data science peers for a vibrant learning environment.
• Stay updated with emerging data science technologies.
