The Intermediate Data Analyst will contribute to analytic research projects aimed at health policy improvement at the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI), collaborating with a dynamic team of analysts and researchers.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior analysts and the Assistant Director of Analytics to create analytic plans.
- Work with project teams to transform raw healthcare data for research and policy analysis.
- Develop datasets and statistical outputs using SAS and other software.
- Author technical reports with detailed programming documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years experience in related fields or Master’s Degree with 1 year experience.
- Proficiency in SAS and SQL for data manipulation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience in healthcare utilization and cost analyses.
- Familiarity with national data sources like ACS and HCUP.
- Knowledge of healthcare coding such as ICD-9/10 and CPT.
