Data Management Analyst I

The University of Florida seeks a Data Management Analyst I for their AI-Powered Athletics project. The role involves managing data from wearable devices, ensuring its integrity and usability for research and athlete monitoring. Collaboration with athletic teams and technological support provision are key aspects of the position.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage data input from wearable devices into the Athlete Management System (AMS).
• Provide technological support and operational assistance to UF athletic teams and the UAA Sports Health and Performance Department.
• Collaborate with the AI-Powered Athletics team to ensure data usability and accuracy.
• Increase project visibility by attending practices, games, and other events.
• Ensure synchronization of student athlete accounts within the AMS.
• Analyze data on the AMS platform to generate reports and dashboards.
• Work with the Research Assistant Scientist and the Director of Sports Performance and Analytics to derive actionable insights.
• Curate and clean data from wearable sensors.
• Train and oversee intern students in the use of wearable devices.
