The University of Florida is looking for an OPS Data Scientist who will lead innovative data science projects. The role focuses on refining data management processes, conducting deep analyses on extensive datasets, and contributing to software development in health-related domains. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Lead data science and data management initiatives.
- Perform data preparation, wrangling, and optimize ETL pipelines.
- Design and implement predictive models for informed decision-making.
- Conduct statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Develop software systems focused on health and medical applications.
- Define system scope and objectives; write and debug code.
- Collaborate with team members to assess design options and troubleshoot issues.
- Attend biweekly meetings to update on progress and discuss solutions.

- Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience.
