The University of Kentucky's Institute for Biomedical Informatics is expanding its Medicaid Analytics team with a Data Scientist I. This role is essential for analyzing large data sets and interpreting statistical data to provide insights for stakeholders. The team is dedicated to advancing research through data analysis and visualization.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Conduct statistical analysis on large datasets.
- Summarize and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Prepare grant proposals and develop data visualizations.
- Collaborate with senior Data Scientists and researchers.

This role requires you to have:
- Proficiency with R, SAS, SQL, and Tableau

- Experience with relational databases like MySQL and SQL Server
