The University of Miami is looking for an experienced Data Analyst 3 to join the Department of Health Management and Policy. This role involves conducting health economics, health services, and health policy research, including advanced data collection and analysis. The candidate will coordinate research projects, prepare reports, and support various research activities.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research activities and communicate frequently with research teams.
  • Coordinate the collection, documentation, and analysis of health research data.
  • Create and maintain IRB protocols and correspondence.
  • Assist in participant recruitment and evaluate recruitment techniques.
  • Develop and assess study protocols and coordinate with study investigators.
  • Coordinate and conduct research project meetings.
  • Assist with research trainings and prepare presentations for conferences.
  • Prepare research presentations, abstracts, and manuscripts for peer-review.
  • Conduct expert literature reviews and advanced data analysis.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

This role requires you to have:

  • Experience with research protocols and coordination
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and statistical software (STATA, R, SAS, Python)
  • Familiarity with IRB interaction and regulatory policies

You would benefit from having:

  • Previous experience with health care projects
  • Research experience in an academic department
  • Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline
