The team, under the leadership of Dr. Ma, aims to solve real-world problems in biological and health sciences through collaborative research, focusing on areas such as mental health, diabetes, and cancer. This role is pivotal for conducting innovative research and advancing machine learning applications in health sciences.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Construct research datasets from diverse sources.
- Design and implement infrastructure for data processing and analysis, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Setup and execute computational experiments for machine learning algorithm benchmarking.
- Develop and implement machine learning and data mining algorithms.
- Prepare technical reports and publications.
- Communicate analytical results to stakeholders.

This role requires you to have:
- B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Physics, Informatics, or related field with four years of experience.
- Proficiency in Matlab, Python, or R.
- Experience with SQL or other database technologies.
- Strong coding skills with a portfolio of work.
- Knowledge of machine learning or statistical methods.
- Excellent communication skills.
