Computational Data Analyst

The University of Pittsburgh is searching for a Computational Data Analyst. This role is pivotal in supporting research projects through meticulous data management and comprehensive analysis. The position is based within the UPCI Research Lab under Adrian Lee's leadership, where the successful candidate will join a dedicated team focused on leading-edge research and data-driven insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Execute research objectives and manage data collection and storage.
• Develop and implement SOPs for data management.
• Organize and maintain research databases, including AWS and HTC data.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Conduct computational data analysis using statistical and bioinformatics techniques.
• Prepare reports and maintain a tracking system for sequencing projects.
