Data Analyst I

The University of Rochester, situated within the School of Medicine and Dentistry, is looking for a Data Analyst I. This role supports the Graduate Programs by performing duties requiring advanced technical and analytical skills. The Data Analyst I will work independently, ensuring compliance with department and university policies.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and manage academic records for graduate students and residents.
• Collaborate on enrollment data preparation and analysis.
• Create and maintain reports and accreditation documentation.
• Support application and admission review processes.
• Manage databases of applicants, current students, and alumni.
• Analyze and report education program data.
• Generate data reports and compile data for various purposes.
• Assess education programs' compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Maintain organized electronic files to demonstrate program compliance.
• Support orientation, graduation, and student activities.
• Assist with procurement and purchasing for the team.
• Help manage application and interview processes.
• Handle alumni database and survey activities.
• Maintain expert knowledge of relevant software and tools.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in statistical analysis, database management, or related field.
• 1 year of data analysis or CRM experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Office 365 platforms.
• Database management and reporting skills.
