This position is crucial for the creation of strategic analytics pivotal for USF's goals as a top-tier educational institution. The Strategic Data Analyst will help shape the university's future through in-depth analysis and valuable insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Generate strategic analytics using predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive methodologies.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts on specialized projects to create analytics and reports.
• Develop data visualizations such as reports and dashboards for university leadership.
• Communicate and coordinate efforts across teams and stakeholders using standard communication methods.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in related fields with six years of experience or Master's degree with four years of experience.

You would benefit from having:

• Programming experience using databases.
• Visualization experience using PowerBI.
• Analytics experience with Sas, Azure ML, or Fabric ML.
• Statistical data analysis using Python or R.
• Experience in data collection and management.
• Experience in research or policy analysis.
• Skill in designing and presenting complex datasets and reports.

Equivalent experience can substitute for educational requirements, with four years for a bachelor's degree and six years for a master's degree.
