Urbane Systems is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to refine their data ingestion processes and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. This role is vital for handling structured and unstructured data, eventually contributing to a cohesive Data Lake used for analytics and reporting.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Standardize data ingestion pipelines.
- Enhance performance of data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with engineers on architecture and design.

This role requires you to have:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields
- 1+ years of cloud experience
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficiency in programming and ETL with Python and SQL
- Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redshift
- Skills in AWS Step Functions, Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon Athena
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Distributed system development expertise
- Hands-on with CloudFormation
