In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Consult with business partners to develop effective metrics and measurements.
• Collaborate with various Vanguard entities to connect required datasets.
• Write and maintain queries for reporting and analytics tools.
• Partner with IT for data identification and storage.
• Perform data validation and regulatory testing.
• Design self-service solutions using tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and business value.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote a data-driven culture.
• Develop and manage database systems and ETL processes.
• Translate business specifications into technical designs.
• Contribute to solution development meetings.
• Engage with internal partners to understand business goals.
• Acquire and ensure quality data for analysis.
• Surface trends using advanced analytical methods.
• Prepare visualizations and presentations to convey analytic insights.
• Manage recurring analytical or reporting processes.

This role requires you to have:

• Strong knowledge of metadata
• Understanding of relational databases
• Expertise in AWS services
• Skill in tools such as Athena and Python
• Mastery of data visualization tools
• Attention to detail and documentation
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Minimum of five years of related experience
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
