VCCS-System Office, committed to enhancing Virginia's educational landscape, is looking for a Data Analyst to independently manage data-related tasks. This position supports various initiatives by providing essential data insights to aid decision-making and policy development. The role plays a crucial part in ensuring effective data reporting and analysis for the Virginia Community College System.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis and reporting for community college programs.
• Compile, analyze, and prepare reports for initiatives like RSVP, SNAP 50/50, and career coaching.
• Support WCG SCHEV reporting and respond to data requests from VCCS leadership.
• Extract data from management systems and match records across datasets.
• Facilitate the development and approval of data-sharing agreements.
• Create reports tailored to strategic goals and program needs.
• Cleanse data for consistent reporting and policy compliance.
• Use virtual platforms to support program leads and data analysts.

This role requires you to have:

• Knowledge of standard statistical procedures and research methods.
• Proficiency in statistical packages, with a preference for SAS.
• Ability to plan, research, and analyze data effectively.
• Experience in using advanced spreadsheet and database applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
