Wake County Health and Human Services (WCHHS) consolidates a variety of programs, including social services, public health, and child support, aiming to provide high-quality health services to residents. This role exists to advance data-driven improvement within the Child Welfare Division. Reporting to the Continuous Quality Improvement Manager, the team engages with diverse stakeholders to facilitate effective services.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop and publish reports and data dashboards.
- Create data visualizations and infographics to communicate findings.
- Interpret data to provide insightful conclusions.
- Monitor data quality and offer end user support.
- Conduct statistical analyses and program evaluations.
- Lead improvement projects and assist in monitoring plans.
- Collaborate with CQI units and external departments.
- Refine reports in the case management system.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Child Welfare data.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Two years of experience in data science and analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
- Skills in data visualizations and data storytelling.
- Experience with case management systems/databases.

- Professional experience in Child Welfare, Health, or Human Services.
- Master’s degree in relevant fields.
- Knowledge of data management best practices.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
