In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Apply expertise to develop and improve action plans by providing expert guidance.
• Create and evaluate software design and architecture for solutions.
• Analyze requirements and lead discussions to resolve tradeoffs.
• Drive multiple business plans by identifying and removing performance obstacles.
• Create training documentation and oversee tasks for less experienced programmers.

This role requires you to have:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in data engineering
• Proficiency in Hadoop, Spark, Scala, and Kafka
• Strong SQL and data warehousing skills
• Experience with BI tools like Looker and data modeling
• Competency in Python and cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure
