Risk Data Analyst II -ETL and Warehouse

Western Alliance Bancorporation, a leading banking institution, is seeking a Risk Data Analyst II to join their high-performing Portfolio Credit Risk Management team. This role focuses on managing and optimizing the bank's loan and deposit data warehouses. It requires technical expertise in SQL and SSIS, as well as a strong understanding of banking concepts.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage data sourcing, ingestion, and validation for the bank's warehousing processes.
• Create and maintain tables, views, stored procedures, and SSIS packages.
• Propose and implement process improvements with necessary approvals.
• Lead projects, acquire new data sources, and define and document necessary transformations.
• Utilize technical expertise to address complex data projects efficiently.
• Handle a variety of data and process-related projects, meeting deadlines.
• Serve as a contact for internal customers needing ad-hoc data extracts.
• Communicate project status effectively to managers and teams.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Statistics, MIS or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical experience in ETL and SQL proficiency.
• Expert skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Pivot Tables.

You would benefit from having:

• Progress toward certifications such as CFA, CPA, CAIA, CFM, DBA.
