SAP Data Analyst

Westinghouse Electric Company is looking for a SAP Data Analyst for a client. This 6-month project demands expertise in data extraction from modern and legacy SAP systems. The role is designed to support data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives by leveraging advanced data transformation skills.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Extract and validate data from S4HANA and SAP ECC systems.
• Develop and manage BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reports.
• Load data into a PostgreSQL database ensuring integrity.
• Convert R scripts into Python for data processing tasks.
• Perform data analysis to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with IT, business units, and data engineering teams.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement improvements.
• Maintain ETL processes and methodologies.
• Offer training on data extraction and reporting tools.
• Stay updated with SAP software and data analytics advances.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related field.
• 3+ years of SAP data analysis experience with S4HANA and SAP ECC.
• Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and ETL processes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Advanced R and Python skills, with an ability to convert R scripts to Python.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
