Windward Risk Managers is searching for an insightful Data Analyst to bolster their Operations team. The role focuses on transforming complex datasets into strategic insights, supporting informed decision-making within the organization. Candidates with strong technical and analytical skills are ideal to help drive efficiency and successful outcomes.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Operations team to collect and analyze large datasets, including API and DC logs along with Jira records.
• Develop data workflows and mapping processes for quantitative analysis on claims financial, quality, and performance metrics.
• Identify trends, conduct root cause analysis, and propose actionable recommendations.
• Build AI models to predict system outages and optimize team workload planning.
• Generate both regular and ad-hoc reports on system performance and customer behavior.
• Develop an Operations dashboard to enhance team decision-making.
• Handle data requests to deliver comprehensive insights.
• Create advanced Excel spreadsheets and reports to streamline processes.
• Analyze Jira to support sprint planning and continuous process improvement.
• Use web analytics tools to monitor user journeys and customer behaviors.

This role requires you to have:

• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with SQL and Power BI
• Experience with API integrations
• Knowledge of Google Analytics
• Data visualization with libraries like Matplotlib or Seaborn

A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Preferred candidates have over 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field.
