Wisetek Providers, Inc is searching for a Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on data acquisition strategies and integration patterns to benefit the business. The Data Analyst will work closely with technical teams to design application data structures and contribute to developing an overall product data and analytics strategy.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Gather data requirements for reporting and application development.
- Develop strategies for data acquisition and integration patterns.
- Conduct data profiling and predictive analysis.
- Collaborate with technical teams for data structure design and integration.
- Lead data standardization programs and legacy database redesign.
- Design and maintain reporting capabilities using MySQL, Tableau, and Excel.
- Research data modeling methodologies and security standards.
- Proactively propose improvements for reporting infrastructure.
- Extract data using MySQL with complex joins.
- Perform data analysis and produce reports for operations and marketing.
- Develop and review data testing procedures for quality assurance.
- Analyze system performance to detect defects.
- Coordinate efforts to address application defects and impacts.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
- Expert knowledge of MySQL (4+ years).
- Strong understanding of rational databases, ETLs, analytics tools.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle in an agile environment (3+ years).
- Knowledge of Web Services architecture and components like SOAP, WSDL, RESTful services.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience in SEO, Google Analytics reporting.
- Familiarity with PHP, Java, AngularJS, Symfony.
- Experience in insurance, nonprofit or financial industry.
- Working knowledge of deep learning algorithms, machine learning, AI, and data lake architecture.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and AWS.
