The Traffic Data Analyst role is essential for supporting projects that impact national traffic data and enhance transportation frameworks.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop the NPS Traffic Data Annual Report and park chapters.
• Assess new traffic counting technologies and their deployment.
• Analyze traffic data for specific parks.
• Compile traffic data requests and create/update traffic database stations.
• Conduct fieldwork, scoping, and repair traffic count stations.
• Coordinate with DOT and federal entities on infrastructure projects.
• Prepare Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) and perform ethical decision-making.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of related experience in engineering or data analysis.
• Federal background clearance.
• Availability to travel to National Parks and in-office work in Lakewood, CO.
• Strong communication and ethical decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical writing.
