In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and optimize data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Fabric.
• Write and enhance PySpark notebooks for handling large data workloads.
• Troubleshoot and improve ETL/ELT workflows in Azure Synapse.
• Manage Data Lakes to ensure data accessibility and performance.
• Integrate AI/LLM models into data workflows to drive insights.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts on data-driven solutions.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance in Azure.
• Stay updated with cloud, AI, and big data technology advancements.

This role requires you to have:

• 5+ years experience in Data Engineering with a focus on Azure Synapse.
• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and ADLS.
• Understanding of data warehousing, modeling, and architecture.
• Knowledge of integrating AI/LLM technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

You would benefit from having:

• Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with real-time streaming solutions such as Azure Stream Analytics or Kafka.
• Familiarity with Databricks and NoSQL technologies.
