This role involves working independently to handle data analysis and reporting, vital for strategic goals and programmatic needs. The position supports efforts toward workforce development, strengthening the economy, and aiding educational advancements throughout the state.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Conduct data compilation, analysis, and report preparation for community college initiatives such as RSVP and SNAP 50/50.
• Support the Lead Policy and Data Analyst with Workforce Credentials Grant (WCG) SCHEV reporting.
• Extract and match administrative records across large datasets.
• Facilitate the development and approval of data-sharing agreements.
• Create reports based on strategic goals and program needs.
• Cleanse data to ensure reporting consistency.
• Review policies and procedures and explain data implications to stakeholders.
• Use virtual platforms like Zoom and Teams for reporting needs.

This role requires you to have:

• Knowledge of standard statistical procedures and research methods.
• Skill in statistical packages, preferably SAS.
• Ability to plan, research, analyze, and independently exercise initiative.
• Advanced use of software applications like word processing and spreadsheet tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Experience in data collection, analysis, reporting, and presenting research data.

This restricted classified position is contingent upon continued funding, with a one-year probationary period.
