Xentity Corporation seeks a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their team, supporting a cloud-based analytics platform for ecological and soil site data. The role involves ensuring innovative data solutions and engaging with a team dedicated to delivering impactful results in the conservation sector.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Support and modernize applications and databases for ecological site information.
• Work with SQL, relational databases, and scientific data products.
• Operate within agile frameworks.
• Utilize MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSMS, Visual Studio, and .NET technologies.
• Collaborate using Git or Bitbucket.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, environmental science, or related field.
• 12+ years of IT experience focused on data engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database architectures.
• Experience with Python programming for data analysis.
