In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and movement using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Data Lake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build robust data solutions.
• Manage high-volume, real-time, and batch data ingestion pipelines.
• Implement event-driven architectures for data processing.
• Develop solutions using Azure Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Optimize data performance through partitioning, caching, and indexing.
• Manage transformations and aggregations for datasets.
• Design high-performance data models in Azure Synapse.
• Optimize query performance and manage workloads in Synapse Analytics.
• Implement security measures including RBAC and encryption.
• Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics for monitoring and troubleshooting.

This role requires you to have:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud-based data integration.
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Azure Databricks for large-scale data transformation.
• Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing and performance tuning.
• Secure, scalable architecture with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
• Advanced T-SQL skills with SQL Server.
