Zoox's Data team plays a crucial role in establishing the readiness of their autonomous vehicles and services through data insights. The team contributes significantly to strategic decisions and scales Zoox's operations. Accessing an exceptional dataset within the autonomous industry, the candidate will collaborate with a diverse and growing team.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product software teams to implement models for fleet allocation, ETA, and pricing.
• Develop algorithms to automatically allocate vehicles, ensuring premium customer experiences.
• Define best practices for statistical rigor in data-driven decisions.

This role requires you to have:

• Deep knowledge of Economics, Operations Research, or Mathematical Optimization.
• Experience in organizational decision-making.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, or Scala.
• Ability to communicate statistical inferences effectively to engineering and business stakeholders.
• Experience in designing metrics and mechanisms to generate business insights.
